Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm golden amber, with glints of sunlit copper.
Nose
Intriguing almond marzipan opens the nose, braided with delicate, coastal smoke. Beneath, orange zest and vanilla unfold, joined by dried fig and toffee sweetness. A whisper of oak spice lingers, while the peat remains suave and refined, like a warm ember in a confectioner’s pantry.
Palate
Silky marzipan sweetness lies at the core, weaving with a whisper of smoke that lingers through almond, honey and citrus zest. Vanilla, dried fruit and a touch of cocoa broaden the creamy, full-bodied palate, while a restrained peat note threads through for balance and a long, refined finish.
Finish
Long and elegant, the finish releases almond‑marzipan sweetness that lingers, embraced by a gentle, smoky warmth. Sherry‑cask resonance coats the palate as wisps of peat fade to dried fruit and oak, leaving a refined sweetness and a final whisper of spice.
