Loch Lomond The Open 2026 - 154th Royal Birkdale Special Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In stock
To celebrate the partnership between Loch Lomond Group and The Open Championship, golf’s original Championship, Master Blender Michael Henry crafted this rich expression. The Open Special Edition 2026 is a toast to the people, places and moments that make The Open exceptional.
Distilled in Loch Lomond’s remarkable straight-neck stills, at a range of collection strengths, the whisky is then matured in casks expertly crafted by the distillery’s own traditional cooperage, creating a complex whisky that showcases its distilling capability and flavour creation.
This single malt is crafted from whisky distilled only in the unique straight-neck stills. It is first matured in American oak casks to build signature fruit, honey and soft smoke, then finished for six months in Argentinian Malbec casks to bring richer dark berries, vibrant red fruits and gentle spice.
Bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, it is presented just as nature intended.
