Steamed syrup sponge pudding and Jamaican spiced bun form a warm, comforting core, woven with white chocolate and grilled peaches. Intriguing notes of mixed candied peel and a tin of Del Monte fruit cocktail lend a bright, sunlit fruit lift that lingers invitingly on the nose.
Palate
Tinned prunes in syrup mingle with wood spice, clove studded orange, and ginger nut biscuits, while caramel sauce coats the mouth; hints of aniseed twists and a teasing touch of tarragon.
Finish
Tangy, spice-led finish that lingers on and on, leaving a warm, pepper-kissed finale.
