The modern Loch Lomond Distillery, opened in 1814, on the southern border of Scotland’s Trossachs National Park, and can produce an incredible 13 different styles of Scotch whisky, including single malts and grains. This creamy single grain spirit was produced from its column stills in 1996 for further maturation in a traditional French brandy casks, in this case, 26 years in an Armagnac puncheon.
