Loch Lomond Steam & Fire brings to life our diverse distilling process and our bespoke, hand-charred casks from our own time-honoured cooperage, resulting in this truly unique and imaginative whisky.
Created using spirit from both our remarkable straight neck and more traditional swan neck stills. Then spirit was then matured in American oak casks and finished in heavily charred casks, flamed by our own in-house cooperage.The charring process adds a unique complexity and brings out lots of melted brown sugar character as well as a rich buttery mouthfeel with notes of orange and dark chocolate.

Colour

Nose
Sweetly charred and inviting, this nose unfolds with melted brown sugar and vanilla, wrapped in toasted American oak. Orange zest brightens a cocoa-dusted chocolate core, while a subtle buttered note lingers alongside a whisper of char and smoke.
Palate
Silky and mouthfilling with melted brown sugar and buttery sweetness, this palate unfurls bright orange citrus and dark chocolate. The heavily charred American oak lends toast and depth, delivering a warm, confection-like finish.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of melted brown sugar and creamy butter, with bright orange zest and dark chocolate lingering on the palate. A touch of charred oak warms the back, tapering to a lasting, velvety sweetness.
