Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold glow, tinged with mahogany edges.
Nose
Bold peat smoke rides a coastal breeze, tempered by refill Sherry sweetness. Dried fig and raisin mingle with vanilla, toffee and cocoa, while a mineral, saline edge keeps the aroma bright. A touch of spice lingers as the peat settles into a balanced, confident bouquet.
Palate
A bold, medicinal peat opens to a sweet sherry-driven core, with fig, raisin and toffee notes. Dark chocolate, orange zest and a touch of spice lift the mid-palate. Subtle mineral salinity steadies the sweetness as a lasting, smoky finish lingers with ash, oak and pepper.
Finish
Long, smoky finish of peat with dark fruit, cocoa and a sherried sweetness. A crisp mineral bite threads through the smoke, leaving a saline, ember-dusted linger that fades to a warm, drying finish.
