The second instalment of this new series sees Lindores return to our award winning Single Malt Spirit matured exclusively in first fill - Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred (STR) Red Wine Barriques of exceptional quality from Spain and Portugal.
These STR casks are one of the three core casks of Lindores. This beautiful Single Malt Scotch Whisky explores longer maturation times than the first series and is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in a flavour journey and track the evolution of Lindores’ aging Whisky. The youngest cask involved in the makeup of this bottling is 4 years and 8 months with some of the casks exceeding a 5-year maturation time resulting in Lindores oldest general release Whisky to date.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, sun-kissed amber with a coppery glow and subtle ruby highlights, wine-warmed and inviting.
Nose
Very mellow, fruit-forward nose of plum jam, caramelized muscovado sugar, and Scottish butter with a touch of cinnamon.
Palate
Sweet plums and dates mingle with ripe apricots, baked spices and roasted chestnuts; apple and cinnamon pie notes linger at the back, carried by a luxuriously smooth texture and a lasting, pleasant finish.
Finish
Medium to long, the finish lingers with warm spices, honey and caramel, a softly toasted sweetness that carries into a creamy, lingering warmth.
