A 12 year old Laphroaig aged in a Refill Hogshead that yielded just 317 bottles.
A really good cask strength indie bottling of your classic marmite malt! i loved this at full strength but you may want to add water (you wimps)

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Tarry, oily maritime nose: fishing ropes and lime pickle, with sooty gooseberry, inky iodine and the unmistakable Laphroaig phenolic grip. Herbal menthol lifts the peat, mingling with coal-tar smoke over muddy heather.
Palate
Chocolate lime sweets meet sooty gooseberry and salted lime, with white pepper and ripe pear weaving through peat-fire smoke.
Finish
Tarry liquorice lingers with sooty, peppery peat smoke, lime in rock pools, medicinal menthol, and salted popcorn from a fishing trawler, fading into a long, herbal lozenge-like finish.
