Colour
Burnished amber with coppery highlights and a dark honey-gold glow.
Nose
Intense peat smoke and iodine-rich coastal air dominate the nose, with sea-salt brine and mineral lift. Beneath, citrus zest and vanilla from toasted oak shine, while a faint medicinal note threads through, delivering classic Islay character with maritime depth.
Palate
Boldly peated, maritime and fruity on the palate. Iodine, sea-salt and charcoal smoke mingle with rich sherry-tinged dark fruit—raisin and fig—while vanilla and spice weave through. The finish is long, warming and peppery, with mineral coastal notes lingering beside a subtle cocoa aftertaste.
Finish
Long, smoky finish of lush peat and medicinal iodine, carried on a briny coastal breeze. A whisper of vanilla sweetness flickers and fades, leaving mineral ash and warm spice to linger with a sea-salt edge.
