Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, burnished amber with coppery highlights and a warm honey-gold glow; a shade that conjures aged oak and sherry-cask richness.
Nose
Bold peat smoke and medicinal iodine dominate, carried by a maritime sea-salt breeze. Subtle sweetness threads through—vanilla, toffee, and toasted oak—while hints of citrus zest and coastal kelp brighten the aroma.
Palate
Coastal peat and iodine smoke coats the palate, tempered by saline mineral notes. Vanilla, toasted oak and a hint of citrus unfold mid-palate, while peppery spice lifts the profile and the 50% ABV provides a long, smoky maritime echo.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with peat, medicinal iodine and sea-salt lingering on the palate. Sherry-influenced warmth threads vanilla and dried fruit through the smoke, before a final, peppery oak and faint char fade slowly.
