Colour
Rich, warm amber with a copper-gold glow and a burnished honey sheen.
Nose
Peat smoke coils with medicinal iodine and a salty sea breeze, briny seaweed and ash painting the air. Beneath, sweet malt and vanilla unfold with citrus zest and a touch of toasted oak—a bold, maritime nose that hints at Laphroaig’s signature intensity.
Palate
Oil-dense peat and medicinal iodine coat the palate with briny sea-salt. Sherry-derived sweetness — dark fruit, fig and raisin — weaves through toasted oak. Warming spice builds, delivering a long, peppery finish of smoke and saline caramel.
Finish
Extending smokiness into a long, maritime finish; peat smoke hugs the tongue with iodine and sea spray, fading to warm oak and subtle spice as a whisper of sweetness lingers.
