Laphroaig Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Old Bottling) 15 Year Old
Out of stock
A much smoother finish, almost like a Single Barrel compared to the standard 10 year old. This original 15 years has since been discontinued and replaced by the 16 year old and is now much sought after.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with coppery undertones and a warm honey glow.
Nose
Smoked sea air and iodine rise, weaving with medicinal peat and a briny, talc-like sweetness. Subtle sherry notes unfurl—fig and raisin darkening to cocoa—while vanilla, toasted oak, and a whisper of citrus polish the edge. Elegant, coastal warmth hints at the 15-year grace, a refined peat that lingers.
Palate
Silky and richly peated, the palate coats the mouth with smoke and iodine, tempered by polished oak. Creamy vanilla and toffee mingle with dried fruit notes from sherry influence, while sea-salt and peppered peat give a measured bite. A balanced acidity carries a long, warm finish where peaty sweetness lingers, refined and almost single-barrel in its smoothness.
Finish
An exceptionally smooth finish that glides into a long, single-barrel-like warmth. Peat recedes to a refined whisper, leaving honeyed vanilla, coastal salt, and toasted oak to linger softly, with a polished, elegant fade.
