Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Bold peat smoke floods the nose, with iodine, sea-salt and a medicinal undertone. Briny air and mineral clarity rise alongside subtle sherry-softened sweetness—raisin, fig and cocoa—balanced by vanilla and toasted oak. A waxy, leathered touch lingers, carried by coastal breeze and driftwood, finishing in a gently warming, smoky note.
Palate
Bold peat and maritime iodine brush across the palate, delivering a smoky, briny core with sea-salt overtones. Beneath, subtle vanilla and toasted barley sweetness weave through oak; peppery spice tightens the finish as the smoke lingers.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of peat smoke and sea-salt, with iodine and a whisper of lemon zest. A warming wave of spice follows, balanced by hints of vanilla caramel, leaving a resinous, coastal echo that lingers warmly on the palate.
