Nose
Fierce peat and medicinal iodine rise with bold sea-salt notes, like an Islay wind. Smoke clings to tar and ash, while vanilla and caramel from the cask weave through. Subtle sherry-influenced fruitiness and a mineral lift complete the aromatic tapestry.
Palate
Luxuriously oily and full-bodied, this Feis Ile expression carries bold peat and iodine, tempered by sherry sweetness. Dark fruit, cocoa and fig mingle with briny sea salt, grilled citrus, and vanilla. A spicy undercurrent and long, medicinal finish lingers with smoky oak.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with coastal peat and medicinal iodine lingering in a sea-salt breeze of smoke. Sherry-soaked fruit and dark chocolate traits emerge, warmed by toasted oak. A peppery, resinous glow remains, slowly coating the palate with smoky sweetness that lingers well after the sip ends.
