Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, dark mahogany with coppery highlights and a burnished amber glow.
Nose
Lifted peat and medicinal iodine rise with sherry-soaked sweetness. Dried fig, treacle, and orange zest mingle with toasted almond and leather, all wrapped in thick smoke. A coastal breeze of sea spray lingers, lending brine and depth to a velvety, fruit-kissed aroma.
Palate
Smoked peat and iodine rise on the palate, balanced by lush sherry sweetness. Dried fig and plum unfold with mocha, caramel and a hint of orange zest. Full-bodied and silky at 48%, it coats the mouth with maritime warmth and a lingering finish of leather, pepper and coastal salt.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with sea-salt and iodine riding over sherried sweetness. Rich fig, raisin and cocoa linger as bold peat and leather unfold, tempered by oak spice; a drying, resinous tail persists, warming the palate well after the last sip.
