Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-tinged edges and a mahogany glow, hints of sherry-dark warmth.
Nose
Intense peat smoke envelopes coastal iodine and sea-salt breeze. Rich sherry sweetness threads through—dates, fig, raisin and dark chocolate—while leather and toasted oak lend warmth. Subtle brine, menthol and mineral notes linger, leaving a long, smoky finish.
Palate
On the palate it delivers a bold, oily mouthfeel charged with peat, iodine, and sea-salt smoke. Sherry maturation threads in dark fruit, cocoa, and a touch of leather, rounding the intensity with sweet-savory notes. Spiced oak and a gentle medicinal warmth linger into a long, warming finish of ash and coastal smoke.
Finish
An enduring, smoke-kissed finish lingers with iodine-rich peat and coastal salt, slowly evolving into dark cocoa and toasted oak. A refined sherry sweetness threads through, leaving a warm, saline glow that softly fades to a lingering, honeyed finish.
