Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich mahogany-amber with copper-gold highlights.
Nose
Bold peat smoke with iodine and sea salt forms a confident Islay heartbeat, tempered by rich sherry sweetness—raisin, fig and treacle. Subtle vanilla, leather and spice weave through the air, while a whisper of char and coastal medicinal notes linger, inviting deeper exploration.
Palate
Peat smoke and medicinal iodine lead the palate, with sea-salt caramel and dried fruit lending subtle sweetness. Rich sherry influences the core as a waxy, full-bodied texture coats the tongue. Maritime brine returns in the finish, mingling espresso and cocoa with oak, a long, smoky afterglow of vanilla and ash.
Finish
Long, peaty finish that clings with smoky iodine and sea-salt, tempered by a whisper of sherry sweetness. Dark fruit, cocoa and toasted oak ripple through, finishing with peppery warmth and a dry maritime smoke that lingers.
