Delicate at first, with green papaya and lime pickle giving way to dried seaweed, then anise and white pepper emerge, lightly touched by iodine and boggy mossy peat. Smoked grapefruit, dusty vanilla and sooty floral notes weave through the aroma, lending coastal elegance and quiet intrigue.

Palate

Delicate fruit and smoke mingle on the palate: grapefruit and lime with tinned pear, tempered by sooty white pepper smoke; earthy-herbal notes rise mid-palate, giving way to sweet tarry vanilla, aromatic tea-chest oak and a touch of salty liquorice.

Finish

Long, maritime finish where lime cordial and ripe pear give way to grapefruit and white pepper. Anise returns with subtle hints of bonito flakes, salty vanilla and green herbs, while the classic Laphroaig iodine lingers at the end, leaving a refined, smoky echo.
