Colour
Rich amber with coppery shimmer and a touch of mahogany, a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
A bracing plume of peat smoke rims the glass, ferrying sea-salt, iodine and briny barley. Fresh citrus zest threads through, while subtle sherry-driven warmth hints at dark fruit and almond. The aroma feels coastal and bold, with an earthy, mineral backbone and a gentle malt sweetness.
Palate
Islay smoke leads with bold peat, iodine and sea-salt, lifted by medicinal notes. Sherry maturation threads in dried cherry, fig and cocoa, wrapped in a silky, waxy mouthfeel. Pepper and orange zest punctuate caramel sweetness, then the finish lingers warm and maritime, with peat, espresso and charred oak echoing softly.
Finish
Long, maritime finish with peat smoke and a hint of sherry sweetness; drying oak, dark chocolate and orange zest linger together, fading to a briny, resinous warmth.
