Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Sea-salt breeze and citrus zest mingle with a delicate peat aroma, lifted by floral sweetness. Bourbon vanilla and fresh oak provide warmth, while Oloroso sherry adds dried fig, raisin, almond, and spice. A coastal, vibrant Islay nose—bright, fruity, and inviting with a subtle smoky edge.
Palate
The palate offers bright citrus and floral lift that rides Kilchoman peat with coastal salt. Bourbon sweetness meets Oloroso depth, with fig and raisin, cinnamon and spice, all shaded by smoky caramel. Creamy, slightly oily mouthfeel leads to a long finish of peat, orange zest, and sea spray.
Finish
Long maritime finish with coastal peat and bright citrus lingering, then a warm wave of dried fruits and spice from the sherry influence, finishing with vanilla, oak and a lingering peat smoke.
