Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery warmth and a subtle mahogany glow from the Oloroso finish.
Nose
Peat smoke and coastal brine rise with sunny lemon zest and orchard fruit. A soft Oloroso tang brings dried fig and raisin sweetness, while toasted almond, vanilla and light oak add warmth, finishing with a calm, spice-kissed lift.
Palate
Bright, maritime peat coats the palate with a salty edge, while lemon zest and orchard fruit keep it fresh. Oloroso sherry layers in dark fruit, cocoa and toasted almond, with a touch of caramel sweetness. Creamy yet crisp, the finish is warming and slightly spicy, mingling smoke, sea salt and charred oak into a long, dry, cocoa-tinged finale.
Finish
Rich Oloroso-sherry notes coat the finish, delivering dried fig, treacle and orange zest, with a subtle peat whisper. It lingers long—warm, maritime, and cocoa-tinged, fading to toasted nuts and spice.
