Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany depth and a copper-gold glow.
Nose
Opulent nose of dried fruits and rich sherry: raisin, fig and date mingle with burnt sugar and treacle, lifted by orange zest and almond. Nutty Oloroso adds depth and leather, while PX and Moscatel contribute syrupy molasses and ripe sweetness—an inviting, warm sherry tapestry.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, with Oloroso’s rich, nutty depth supporting Moscatel and PX-bright fruit. Notes of raisin, prune, fig and dark chocolate glide through caramel and toffee, while a subtle almond echo and warm spice frame a prolonged, refined sweetness.
Finish
Long, plush finish with velvety sherry sweetness. Dried fig, prune and raisin linger alongside cocoa, toffee and a touch of orange zest, all wrapped in toasted oak and gentle spice. The triple-sherry maturation drapes a warm, persistent glow that slowly fades to a refined, velvety conclude.
