A rare single cask release from the closed Karuizawa distillery, this 30 year old was distilled in 1984 and bottled as part of the Noh series from cask number #2030.
Matured for three decades, it shows rich aromas of dark chocolate, espresso, dried fruits and polished oak.
The palate is concentrated and powerful, with black cherry, treacle, bitter cocoa, roasted nuts and firm spice, balanced by deep oak influence.
The finish is long, dry and complex, with lingering sherry depth and mature wood.
