Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery highlights.
Nose
Honeyed orchard fruit and creamy vanilla rise from the glass, brightened by orange zest. A gentle peat smoke threads through the sweetness, while sherry cask warmth adds raisin and date notes. A touch of sea salt and heather completes a refined coastal bouquet that lingers with spice and toasted oak.
Palate
On the palate, a gentle peat smoke threads through honeyed malt and citrus zest, delivering a balanced maritime warmth. Rich sherry-soaked notes of dried fruit (raisins and fig) rise with vanilla, clove and nutmeg, then drift into toasted oak. Silky texture and medium body lead to a long, refined finish with a whisper of salt.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with a whisper of coastal peat and vanilla-laced sweetness. Honeyed toffee deepens into dried fruit notes, touched by a subtle sherry echo. Oak lends gentle spice and a maritime saltiness, while the smoke lingers softly, carrying malt and warmth into a refined, lingering glow.
