Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a honeyed glow and a warm coppery shimmer.
Nose
Delicate peat smoke swirls with honeyed malt, carried by a coastal brine that hints at sea spray. Sherry notes deepen the aroma with dried fig, orange zest, toffee and vanilla, unfolding into a warm, nutty spice. An elegant, old‑school Highland perfume—smoky, sweet, and quietly refined.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied on the palate, honeyed sweetness meets subtle peat and citrus zest. Fragrant orchard fruits and toffee mingle with almond and vanilla, lightly salted by a maritime breeze. Sherry influence adds dried fruit, cocoa nib, and spice, finishing long with refined oak and a gentle, resinous smoke.
Finish
Long and elegant, this finish carries a gentle peat smoke that lingers with honeyed malt. Coastal brine, dried fruit and a touch of vanilla drift through the palate, guided by soft oak and a whisper of spice. The peat recedes into a warm, resinous glow, fading to a clean citrus ember that leaves a refined, lasting impression.
