Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany at the rim, a warm, wine-dark glow in the glass.
Nose
Opulent, sherried bouquet of dried fig, raisin and date, melted into orange marmalade with cocoa nibs. Rich toffee and toasted almond ride atop polished oak. Subtle maritime brine and a whisper of peat smoke thread through, crowned by honeyed heather and a kiss of spice.
Palate
Silky, mouth-coating and richly sherried, this Highland Park unfolds with fig, raisin and orange marmalade. Subtle peat lends a poised maritime edge, while polished oak, dark chocolate and honeyed spice deepen on the palate. A touch of salted caramel and leather threads through, leading to a long, velvety finish with refined warmth and quiet smoke.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with a whisper of heather and peat, evolving into sweet dried fruit, fig and orange zest, then mellow oak and spice that linger—a polished, dignified farewell with a trace of maritime salt.
