Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with warm copper highlights and a honeyed, sun-kissed glow.
Nose
Bold vanilla and warm oak open, releasing honeyed toffee, ripe apple and pear, and bright citrus zest. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—stirs through a creamy, resinous woodiness from the small cask maturation, finishing with toasted almond and a seamless, oak-laden sweetness.
Palate
Rich and full, it coats the palate with vanilla and toffee from the ex-bourbon, fused with bright orchard fruits and citrus zest. Waxy, creamy texture with a backbone of oak spice from the smaller cask regime, hints of almond and a kiss of warmth. Long, satisfying finish of vanilla, caramel and refined spice.
Finish
Long, warm and oak-driven, with vanilla and caramel sweetness giving way to toasted spice and citrus zest; the finish lingers gracefully, fading into a silky, elegant glow.
