Tasting Notes
Colour
A deep, sun-bronze amber with coppery glints and a warm honey-gold core, edged with mahogany.
Nose
Opulent and layered, the nose unfolds with dark plum and candied orange, wrapped in dried fig and raisin. Rich vanilla, toffee and cocoa nibs mingle with faint tobacco and lacquered oak. American oak notes bring spice—cinnamon and cedar—while a polished warmth lends a graceful, eau-de-vie brightness that promises depth to come.
Palate
Velvety and full on the palate, with creamy toffee and dark fruit, edged by vanilla and oak spice. Rich cocoa, walnut and orange zest weave through a bourbon-like sweetness, while cloves and cinnamon add a peppery lift—hallmarks of its double maturation. Long, warming finish of oak, caramel and tobacco.
Finish
Long, creamy finish with vanilla and toasted oak, edged by dark fruit and gentle spice. The double maturation lends a cocoa-kissed sweetness that lingers, evolving into a warm, velvety fade and a final whisper of tobacco.
