Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with a warm copper edge.
Nose
Opulent sherried bouquet with ripe dried fruit: figs, raisins and plum, lifted by orange zest and vanilla toffee. Rich cocoa and espresso threads weave through toasted oak, almond and subtle spice (cinnamon, clove). A lush, nutty, resinous aroma that hints at decadence and a bold, sophisticated Speyside character.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with sherried richness and a warming spine. Dried fruits—raisin and fig—meet orange zest, toffee and vanilla. Nutty almond and cocoa mingle with cinnamon and a touch of black pepper, while oak lends structure. Long, warming finish that lingers with spice and sweetness.
Finish
Opulent and long, this finish coats the palate in sherried sweetness - ripe dark fruits, fig and raisin, and a thread of cocoa. Oak spice lingers, with a touch of orange zest and toasted nut, fading slowly into a warm, velvety ember.
