Glenlochy is one of the rarest malts to find in the world of silent distilleries and even more so at nearly fifty years old! Beautifully presented in a satin lined wooden box and complete with a certificate of authenticity, bottle hang tag and Old malt cask information booklet. Rare limited release bottles such as these are very much going to become the ultimate collectables in the future. This bottle has seen dramatic price increases since we last sold one in 2012 and this example is in 100% as new condition.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany undertone.
Nose
Opulent, time-softened aroma of dark dried fruits—fig, prune, cherry—lifted by rich sherry notes. Deep oak, walnut, and cacao mingle with hints of leather, antique tobacco, and spice, delivering a luxurious, contemplative bouquet.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, with dried fig and prune at the fore. Dark chocolate, orange zest and espresso unfurl on a velvet oak backbone, while walnut notes and a touch of spice—clove and cinnamon—linger into a long, refined finish.
Finish
An exceptionally long, velvet finish that lingers with sherry-softened fruit, dark chocolate and dried fig, wrapped in polished oak and spice. Gentle warmth carries notes of cocoa nib, coffee and leather, fading to toasted almond and a final whisper of tobacco.
