Tasting Notes
Colour
Sherry-tinted warm honey-gold amber with coppery glints and a touch of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Sherry-influenced aromas envelop ripe orchard fruit, toffee and vanilla, with polished oak. Raisin and fig mingle with a warm spice of cinnamon and orange zest, while a light malty sweetness from the grain lingers. A delicate thread of cocoa and tea-toned earth adds depth, finishing in a refined, celebratory glow.
Palate
Silky and inviting on the palate, this Glengoyne delivers dark dried fruit—fig, raisin, plum—caramelized by sherry, with hints of almond and milk chocolate. A touch of orange zest and warming spice (cinnamon, clove) adds lift, while toasted oak provides restrained backbone. The finish is long, refined, and gently sweet, with oak and spice lingering.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with warming spice and polished oak. Dried orange and fig mingle with cocoa as sherry sweetness lingers, wrapped in vanilla and toasted almond. The fruit gradually fades into a silky, nutty aftertaste that persists with a refined, suave glow.
