Bottled for Murray McDavid’s Benchmark series, this Glengoyne was distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 at 11 years old. Matured in bourbon barrel and bottled at 56.6% ABV, it was released in an outturn of 850 bottles.
Glengoyne’s unpeated Highland style works especially well with bourbon wood, which brings out the distillery’s orchard fruit, vanilla and gentle sweetness. The cask keeps the profile bright and spirit-led, while the natural strength adds extra texture and depth through the palate.

Full and rounded, orchard fruits mingle with vanilla sweetness, touch of toffee and malt. Warming oak lends depth and a bright, spirit-driven finish with lingering spice.
Finish
Long and clean, the finish lingers with vanilla and orchard fruit, evolving into gentle spice and warming oak that gradually fades to a soft, focused sweetness.
