"What a charmer:better dead than when alive, some might argue. But this has weathered the passing three and a half decades with ease and really does something of an ice cream feel to it from beginning to the end.. well i suppose the distillery was located close to the seaside..one of the most understated but beautiful lost distillery bottlings of the year."

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery sheen and mahogany undertones, a warm, sunset-hued glow.
Nose
Sherry-matured nose with dried plum, fig and raisin, wrapped in creamy milk chocolate, vanilla and toffee. Subtly nutty with almond notes, polished oak, and a hint of coastal salt—an elegant, dessert-like bouquet.
Palate
Silky and decadent on the palate: creamy milk chocolate and vanilla ice-cream richness, balanced by sherry-influenced dried fruits and a touch of spice. Nutty cocoa with a hint of sea-salt and delicate oak, finishing long and luxurious with sweet, refined warmth.
Finish
Long, creamy and elegant, the finish lingers with silky milk chocolate and sherry-influenced sweetness. Toasted almond and soft oak mingle with a whisper of sea breeze, drifting into a cocoa-dusted finale that lingers and invites another sip.
