Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper hues and a warm honey-gold edge.
Nose
Smoky, rum-kissed aroma with a warm sweetness. Peat notes mingle with dark caramel, vanilla and toffee, while raisins and orange zest add depth. Subtle oak spice and a whisper of sherried warmth linger, a honeyed, inviting bloom.
Palate
Silky, medium-full on the palate with a smoky, rum-like sweetness that coats the tongue. Rich molasses and treacle intertwine with vanilla oak, while dark fig and raisin fruit lend depth. Spices emerge—cinnamon, clove—alongside a subtle saline lift, finishing long with charred wood, smoky ash and lingering warmth.
Finish
Long, contemplative finish of smoke and rum‑like sweetness, dissolving into vanilla, caramel and dried fruit. Sherry depth and oak spice linger softly, with a gentle coastal ember fading to a warm, velvety glow.
