Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-gold hues and a touch of mahogany, gleaming with a warm, wine-kissed glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-soaked nose, ripe with prune and fig, layered with dark chocolate, toffee and burnt sugar. Velvety vanilla and spice ride atop rich oak, while orange zest and almond add lift to a long, inviting aroma.
Palate
Velvety and full-bodied, this Highland malt coats the palate with refined sherried sweetness. Dried fruit—fig, raisin, date—unfolds with orange zest and dark chocolate, lifted by a whisper of espresso. Subtle spice, vanilla and oak weave through, finishing warm with caramel, toasted wood and a lingering, elegant dryness.
Finish
A refined, long finish that unfolds with dark fruit, fig and raisin, layered with cocoa, toasted almond and a whisper of spice. Velvet oak lingers as a gentle sherry sweetness drifts into the afterglow.
