From Glenallachie's Wine Series, this 11 year old single malt has been matured in ex-Bourbon barrels and then further matured for almost two years in Grattamarco wine barriques that were specially selected by master distiller Billy Walker. Only 7,680 bottles of this unchilfiltered expression have been released.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep coppery-amber with honeyed gold highlights and a subtle ruby sheen along the rim.
Nose
A sun-warmed bouquet of honeyed peaches and apricots, lifted by toffee and almond notes, with a citrus kiss of orange peel.
Palate
Toffee and heather honey open the palate, weaving bright red berries with apricots into a soft, honeyed fruit core that lingers with gentle sweetness.
Finish
A warm, lingering finish of nutmeg and cinnamon, complemented by bright orange peel; spices fade slowly, leaving a citrusy, refined warmth on the palate.
