With a passion for exploring the influence of interesting wood types on our spirit, Billy Walker specially selected this Moscatel barrique. Produced from a particularly aromatic variety of grape, Moscatel is a deliciously sweet dessert wine hailing from Spain. Maturation in one of these wine barriques (2008 #418) has created a gloriously bronzed golden malt, abundant with fresh fruits and runny honey, perfectly complemented by citrus aromas and hints of ginger.

Bronzed golden, with honey-amber hues and a warm, sunlit amber-gold glow.
Nose
Honeysuckle, butterscotch and ginger mingle with bright citrus—orange peel and grapefruit—alongside orchard fruits for a sunlit, inviting aroma.
Palate
Lashings of white chocolate mingle with soft cinnamon spice and lime zest, followed by sultanas, dark roast coffee and orchard fruits, creating a lush, balanced palate that lingers with subtle sweetness and fruit-forward depth.
Finish
Long and honeyed, with bright citrus zest of orange and grapefruit, a kiss of ginger spice, and warm orchard-fruit sweetness that lingers, touched by subtle sultana notes.
