Aging in this particular Tawny Port hogshead has bestowed a rich, cherry hue to this exceptionally full-bodied spirit, which delivers notes of ripe red berries and rich toffee, alongside sweet spices and hints of ginger.

Aromas of orchard fruits mingle with honeycomb and strawberry coulis, accented by almonds, maple syrup, ginger and pineapple.

Layers of dried red berries entwine with cinnamon and heather honey, unfolding into soft spice, pecans and delicate rose petals.

Finish

Long finish of red berry fruit and rich toffee, with warm spices—cinnamon and ginger—lingering into a soft, nutty echo.

(glen-AL-a-key) Built in 1967 near Aberlour, it spent much of its life producing whisky for blends rather than building a big name as a single malt in its own right.
