Distilled on 16 October 2009 and bottled in February 2021 at 58.3% ABV, this 10-year-old GlenAllachie was drawn from a single Grattamacco red wine barrique (cask #5000) and yielded 302 bottles. The release formed part of a batch of UK-exclusive single casks selected by master distiller Billy Walker.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with warm copper-gold tones and a subtle ruby-tinged mahogany edge.
Nose
Heather honey, toffee and cocoa lead the aroma, with peaches and almonds brightening it, while orange zest and a whisper of nutmeg weave a warm, inviting scent.
Palate
Layers of toffee, heather honey, cocoa and peaches, fused with red berries, ginger and nutmeg.
Finish
Silky, wine-kissed finish that lingers with red fruit depth and inline spice. Raspberry and blackberry notes mingle with orange zest, cocoa and toffee, while a warming thread of ginger and nutmeg echoes in the background. The Grattamacco red wine cask leaves a velvety, oak-leaning glow that persists, slowly fading into a refined, lingering sweetness.
