A single cask offering from the revamped Glenallachie Distillery in Speyside. This is the first in a series of 8 releases and is an 11 year old whisky, bottled at cask strength (60%) and matured in a port pipe.
Sweet on the nose with milk chocolate, plum and raspberry and a slight hay note. The palate shows a nice depth of flavour with more port characteristics, strawberries, ripe oranges, cherry and a touch of sweet spice. The finish is long with barley sugar, honey and nut and a slight sweet herbaceous note.

A silky, lush mouthfeel coats the tongue, with the port sweetness persisting and expanding. The finish is long, carrying barley sugar, honey and a gentle nut, leaving a warm, inviting herbal lift.
