GlenAllachie Single Bourbon Cask #16095 Whisky 13 Year Old · 2005 Vintage
In stock
Another excellent cask strength single cask release from Glenallachie. This one has been matured in a Bourbon barrel for 13 years and produced just 178 bottles from it.
Probably the release with the most characteristic bourbon character to it, which is not a bad thing. The nose is rich and warm with linseed, oak, toffee and orange. The palate has more big flavours, honey, cream and butterscotch and a lovely sweet mandarine taste (like on a cheesecake). The finish is nutty and slightly drier, giving a slightly spicier finish to the dram.
