Nose

Manuka honey, worn leather and rich chocolate form a luxurious, enveloping nose, with hints of toasted hazelnuts, dried sultanas and burnt orange peel.

Palate

Intense peat, heather honey and mocha, followed by smoked spices, roasted chestnuts and charred oak.

(glen-AL-a-key) Built in 1967 near Aberlour, it spent much of its life producing whisky for blends rather than building a big name as a single malt in its own right. That changed in 2017, when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought the distillery and began reshaping it around a more flavour-led, hands-on vision.
