Deep amber with a coppery glow and mahogany-tinged edges.

Nose

Manuka honey, worn leather and rich chocolate form a luxurious, enveloping nose, with hints of toasted hazelnuts, dried sultanas and burnt orange peel.

Palate

Intense peat drives the palate, balancing with heather honey and rich mocha. Smoked spices rise, revealing roasted chestnuts and charred oak—a structured, warming finish with a touch of sweetness and a lingering resinous smokiness.

Finish

Long, peat-tinged finish with honey and mocha sweetness lingering on the palate. Roasted chestnut and charred oak fade slowly, intertwined with smoked spices and a final kiss of leather. A warm, lingering glow of cocoa and toasted hazelnut persists, inviting another sip.

(glen-AL-a-key) Built in 1967 near Aberlour, it spent much of its life producing whisky for blends rather than building a big name as a single malt in its own right. That changed in 2017, when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought the distillery and began reshaping it around a more flavour-led, hands-on vision.
