Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery shimmer and a mahogany edge, a weighty, aged glow that speaks of decades in cask.
Nose
A refined sherried mahogany of dried fig and plum, with orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate. The oak is polished, mingling leather, tobacco and a whisper of spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—while a waxy malt sweetness lingers, giving an antique Highland elegance to the bouquet.
Palate
Silky and layered, the palate reveals orchard fruit sweetness—apple and pear—alongside dried apricot and fig, all wrapped in polished oak with a whisper of sherry. Nutty almond, cocoa, and gentle spice unfold on a creamy, multi-dimensioned canvas, leading to a long, refined finish with hints of tobacco, leather and citrus zest.
Finish
Silky, long finish that unfurls with toasted oak, dried fruit, and a whisper of spice. Rich cocoa and leather emerge, then fade to a warm, honeyed glow that lingers, echoing the bottle’s age and character.
