Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery undertones and a warm bronze glow.
Nose
Sherry-drenched and malt-forward, this nose opens with dark raisin, fig and date, folded into orange zest and honeyed vanilla. Toasted almond and polished oak provide a dry, nutty backbone, while cinnamon and clove lend gentle spice, hinting at warmth and depth to come.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with rich sherried sweetness. Dried figs, raisins and plum mingle with creamy vanilla and almond, while toasty spice—cinnamon and clove—lingers. Oak underpins the fruit, weaving through to a bright orange zest note and a lingering cocoa-warmth that carries into a long, refined finish.
Finish
Long, refined finish with warm oak and soft sherry sweetness lingering, carried by dried fig and raisin with cocoa nibs. Gentle spices—nutmeg and clove—echo, fading to a creamy, honeyed glow that lingers on the tongue and in the memory.
