Matured in a refill sherry butt, the cask yielded 492 bottles, with the name “Sweet Disposition” chosen to reflect the whisky’s notably soft, fruity and floral character.
Wemyss Malts is known for naming each single cask after the flavours discovered during cask selection, rather than using traditional whisky naming conventions. Nose
A fresh cut bouquet of sweet flowers—gardenia and sweet pea—rises with bright orchard fruit: pear, watermelon and Granny Smith apples.
Palate
Enticingly sweet with eucalyptus, honey, pear drops Moffat toffee, lime cordial and strawberry laces. Glazed doughnuts, shortcake and provides a cereal rich depth. The palate is smooth and gentle.
Finish
A clean and fresh finish that is short but rewarding with lime zest and candied fruits.
