Glenrothes Wemyss Malts - Lime Tea Infusion Single Cask Whisky 19 Year Old · 1997 Vintage
In stock
This is a very interesting expression from the Glenrothes Distillery, and with only 337 bottlings available it is definitely one to experience before it’s gone.
Aromas of tinned fruit syrup leap out of the bottle before the liquid has even hit the glass. Ripe mango with fresh cut grass and an elegant wood note follows. More mango, papaya and stone fruits all stewed in sweet syrup on the palate. Gentle wood spice on the initial palate then fairly citric with a slightly astringent backbone. Like green tea infused with lime and ginger. Toasted coconut shavings and hazelnut oil balance this intensely fruity whisky.
