Another stunning vintage release from The Glenrothes. This time the 2nd edition of the 1988 vintage (bottles 2016). Produced from a combination of first fill American sherry seasoned hogsheads and refill sherry butts.

The Glenrothes Malt Master, Gordon Motion describes the whisky thus - "Blackcurrants, fruitcake, nutmeg and mixed peel".

A deliciously full Glenrothes that is honeyed, rich and creamy. Ful and lingering with lots of fruit and spice.
