Taste Superbly balanced. Crème brûlée, brown sugar and Madagascan vanilla all come together on the palate. This is complimented by cinnamon and cloves.

Nose

Vibrant, malty and peppery, with notes of coconut and star anise.

Palate

Silky and balanced, crème brûlée blends with brown sugar and Madagascan vanilla across the palate, a creamy, dessert-like sweetness. Cinnamon and cloves weave warmth through the mid-palate, finishing with lingering spice.

Finish

Silky, long finish of vanilla crème brûlée and brown sugar, with warming cinnamon and cloves. A gentle coconut hint lingers, guided by bourbon-cask oak, fading to creamy, mellow sweetness.

Glen Elgin
(Glen-EL-gin) Glen Elgin is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery near Elgin in Moray, founded in 1898 by William Simpson, formerly manager at Glenfarclas, and James Carle. Production began in 1900, but the timing was difficult, as the Scotch whisky market was hit by the Pattison crash, and the distillery closed after only a few months. It later restarted under J.J. Blanche & Co before becoming part of Scottish Malt Distillers in 1930.
