Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural deep amber with mahogany undertones and a burnished gold edge, a warm, inviting hue.
Nose
PX sherry drives the nose: raisin, fig and date soaked in treacle, with burnt sugar elegance. Orange zest, cocoa and espresso curl through dark oak and vanilla, a plush, spice-kissed sweetness that hints at cask-strength depth.
Palate
Opulent and mouth-coating, this PX-cask whisky delivers syrupy richness from start to finish. Raisin, fig and prune mingle with orange marmalade, toffee and dark chocolate, brightened by vanilla and a whisper of spice. The 59.6% ABV stays warm but impeccably balanced by oak and treacle sweetness. Long, luxurious finish with almond, cocoa and lingering dried-fruit notes.
Finish
Opulent, long finish of Pedro Ximénez sweetness: raisin and fig mingle with caramel and orange zest, shaded by dark chocolate and toffee. Warm oak and spice persist, drying into a silky aftertaste that lingers with luxurious sherry, leaving a refined Speyside kiss.
