Distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2021, this 14-year-old Glen Moray was released by Wemyss Malts as part of their single cask series. Matured in oak and bottled at a natural 57.2% ABV, the cask yielded 147 bottles. As with all Wemyss single casks, the name “Clubroom Confidential” reflects the character of the whisky inside the cask.

Tasting Notes
Nose
There are traces of linseed oil, cricket bats and sawdust, then bruised apples. Water freshens and raises the latter—now waxy green apples, still edged with attractive spice and scented wood.
Palate
Sweet Speyside character coats the palate, quickly giving way to raisin and walnut notes, delivering a warm, fruit-driven core with a touch of toasty oak.
Finish
Tingly, spritzich mouth-feel, and a lingering chocolatey finish.
